Everyone has a “God Knew” Story, What’s Yours?
We’d love to hear from you.
We’d love to hear your story, and better yet feature it in our next “God Knew” book. Submit your story to us via email and we’ll be in contact with you. Wondering what the requirements are check out the guidelines below before you pick up the pen and write your story?
Guidelines for a “God Knew” Story.
Tell an exciting, heartwarming, encouraging, inspirational, funny “God Knew” story about something that has happened to you or someone you know that only God would have known how it would have ended, or how it would have changed your journey. Your story should be written in the first person and should be about yourself or someone close to you.
Tell your story in a way that will make the reader cry, laugh, get inspired, or even change a lifestyle or habit.
The story should start with the action of the “God Knew” story” and draw in the reader. Do not start your story with an introduction about what you are going to say, or end with a concluding paragraph about what you just said.
Don’t be afraid to speak from the heart, be transparent, and be who are. We do let you use a pen name for your story if you do not want to use your real name.
Don’t try fancy moves with tenses. Writing in the present tense about something that happened in the past rarely works.
Keep your story to 600-1000 words. Short and sweet.
Your story must be true. No fiction, no creative writing.
Please provide contact information and your consent to repost the story, edited for form and length, on social media sites related to Godwinks.
Should your story be considered for inclusion in a God Knew book, a magazine, television, or film production, we will be in touch with you for more information.
In most cases there is no monetary compensation, however, if your story is chosen for a film, there will be modest compensation for the rights to use it.
